Vibration and noise are two phenomena that often occur in the operation of hydraulic systems. Vibration is an inherent characteristic of elastic objects. Noise comes from vibration, and the vibrating object that generates noise is called the sound source. Therefore, the control of hydraulic noise is attributed to the control of hydraulic system vibration.
The fundamental cause of vibration in a hydraulic device (such as a hydraulic station or hydraulic pump set) is the excitation force of the system. The magnitude of the vibration depends on the magnitude of the excitation force and the inherent parameters of the system. The vibration of the hydraulic system, in addition to the mechanical vibration of the hydraulic pump unit, mainly originates from the pressure shock and pressure pulsation inside the hydraulic system. The magnitude of the vibration can be measured by the accelerometer instead of the microphone in the noise test instrument-sound level meter. The main way of anti-vibration, damping and damping of hydraulic system (device) is to eliminate or reduce its excitation source, that is, to eliminate or reduce pressure shock and pulsation, and reasonably design and match the system parameters of hydraulic device.
